Whats Included?:

5 x Beef & Stilton Cornish Pasties:

Locally reared finest skirt steak beef, topped with a crumbling of Long Clawson Stilton, layered over locally sourced potato, onion & swede, wrapped and hand crimped in our special 'Lavenders' recipe shortcrust pastry.

Finally the pastry is hand crimped in the traditional

5 x Cheese & Onion Cornish Pasties:

Made from the finest locally sourced potato, onion & swede, tasty cheddar cheese, wrapped in our families own special recipe pastry & crimped in the traditional D shape by hand.

Finally the pastry is hand crimped in the traditional D shape.

Delivery Information:

Pasties by post are sent on a 24 hour DPD delivery service between Tuesday & Thursday. All orders have a lead time of up to 5 working days. This is because we bake your pasties and then blast chill them ready for their journey to you.

DPD offer a 1 hour delivery notification by text and email, which allows you to be home at the right time.

The pasties are sent chilled in a pre-baked state on a 24 hour service.

Please note, if not at home then DPD have a "Driver Release" enabled, which means they will leave your parcel in a safe place along with a note through your door.

Cooking Instructions

Place onto a oven tray, on grease proof paper

Pre-heat oven to 180ºc or gas mark 5

From Cooked:

Place in the oven & leave for 20 – 25 minutes

From Frozen:

Place in the oven & leave for 1 hour

leave for 10 – 15 minutes to rest so you don’t burn your mouths

Storage

When you receive your pasties, put them straight in the freezer.

Pasties are good in the freezer for up to 2 months

It's great to have the option to have a mixed box, which accommodates both my husband and I. I love the beef and Stilton, which are meaty, with the zing of the cheese. My husband loves the cheese and onion. Both of us happy.

Arrived well packaged in a polystyrene box with ice packs in and the individual bags that the pasties were in had been marked in pencil indicating which was which. I wish I'd noticed that before I almost passed out from sniffing each pasty to see if I could figure out which filling each had. I live less than 15 miles from where Stilton was originally made, Wymondham allegedly, and just a little further is where its made today, so I like blue cheese. Personally, I'd prefer the Beef and Stilton pasties to have more of that cheese in, but on the flip side, that'd probably be too strong for many other people. Rest assured, they won't last long!

Ordered on Tuesday, dispatch on Wednesday pm arrived on Thursday at 11am well packed and ice bags still frozen. Good value especially if you buy 2 boxes to get the second at a discount.

I absolutely love these Proper Cornish pasties, every single type/flavour and combination they do too, they're just a Perfect Pastie every single time. The only downside is that, however much I promise myself, that I'll only eat one a day, as part of a meal, I often end up eating 2 3 or even 4 more, because they're that good, hence why my belly looks like a pastie factory production line now, it's Huge!

I ordered mixed Steak and Stilton + steak only. My confirmation of despatch said SS + cheese and onion. I thought I'd misordered. I then ordered mixed S and lamb. I rec'd what I originally ordered so no cheese ones now for my vegetarian granddaughter. We did like what we rec'd but freezer space is being stretched!

This is the nearest thing to buying a cooked pasty from a Cornish resort. The pastry is firm but full of flavour. the ingredients are fresh and tasty with a delightful hint of pepper. The size of the pasty is a lot bigger than other pasties that I have bought in the past and If asked would I re-order these gems then the answer is 100% YES
